Before I did I redialled it with a automatic message saying UK Ties please hold till someone answers, now saying this number isn't recognised saying now Suspected Scam on my mobile. someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

Caller said they were from BT and they detected suspicious activity on my router. I asked them if they were OK to have the conversation recorded - they hung up.

They claimed to be BT but never gave a caller name and had identified potential security issues with my BT Internet. Sent me a code number to "prove" they were genuine but it didn't feel right and when I said I thought they were scammers, caller became a bit aggressive.

Also using same number on whatsapp business and on twitter @RealShehryar to lure people into investing money. Very dangerous person. Stay away to keep safe.
