Called so briefly the phone didn't even ring! Shows up as Benin on my phone, obvs not calling it back.

Claimed that I took out insurance for drainage at my house. The first two years were free and as I had made no claims the remaing three years were to be at half price. They quoted the last 4 digits of my bank card but this was my old card.When I would not give them my new card they said that as this was the last day they could keep the offer and would have to charge the full amount. The person who called was speaking with an English accent and sounded very plausable.

Saying they will save us money on our gas bill. He was very polite but I'm just not interested as I'm happy with what I already have. It's probably best not to bother, it very often goes wrong in my experience.

Received this number in a text that appeared to be from Barclays - even in same text thread as previous legitimate texts. But a scammer, so beware! Call number on back ofyour card and cancel it if you have given away sensitive information.
