Claimed to be from an energy hub calling about loft insulation. would not give further information about who they were, or give contact information. Probable scam.
Didn't call me by name at the start of the call, and later asked for bank details. This is irrelevant to my satisfaction with BT which is what the call was supposedly about.

I received a call from somebody claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. I asked him to send your new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.

Same as below received emailed ebay order confirmation which states 'call us on + 20 7665 0123 to report this to our fraud protection team'. I suspect this is a scam, taking advantage of the Christmas shopping period.
