Rang off before I could answer the call. My phone as automatically marked it as spam.

This number says that it is Apple Pay. It claims that my account has been suspended. It sends me to a suspicious link. This link will forward you to a virus. Please don’t trust this. Xx

I do not know this person and when i try and call them back, it does not even ring. I think this is a scammer and should be stopped

SCAM claimed to be insurance on domestic appliances up for renewal - quoted my name, address and phone number (all as per phone directory) at me,then asked for my date of birth for verification - I asked him to tell me my date of birth so that I could verify it and (surprise, surprise) the line went dead.

SCAM - Pretending to be O2, tries to get you to verify using texts from O2.. DON'T DO IT! Basically they log on to O2 and use the 'forgot password' function on your account.. the texts are real, but they are just using the detaisl to change your password and gain access to your account. SCAM

SCAM: Phone rang and then caller, a computer, hung up when I didn't speak! Suspected computer call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answer then the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will usually be logged or routed through to a sales person. You'll be called back later by some sales dude. They're usually trying to flog or get you to sign up for house insulation or some scam survey based on a government scheme. They're usually quick to say they're not selling, simply enquiring; surveying; etc.

On picking up the call, there was NO RESPONSE from the caller - be it from a BOT or Person who initiated the call. - I then returned the call with my number with-held and a BOT replied "This number is not in service" !! . This unknown number called and opened the connection to my phone and headset. Claimed to be from HMRC about to take legal action unless I selected an option. A scam and immediately cut call. SCAM
