Guy claiming to make a an escort booking. Kept conversation going via WhatsApp. Managed to obtain address and phone cut off 10 mins after due time and number now doesn’t exist. The booking was for Brighton

The caller said they were from Amazon, and I needed to cancel my order, I realised Amazon don't call you so I put the phone down. They used the Number 07931467436. They again rang 07931, and another number deleted it and again 07931, different 6 digits. I have blocked them all. They don't seem right. AMAZON SCAM

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. I've put this as a Missed call but i didnt actually answer phone, i just let it ring as i didnt know who this was from and didnt actually recognise number, I'm very wary these days ,as there's too many scams goin around so i typed this number into google to see what came up it lead me here where it seemed to have a negative rating , so i will block in my Phone along with many others over the yrs .
