Silent call Missed call When I answer I get several seconds of nothing then the call disconnects. Had 3 missed calls and attempted to answer twice. Blocking now.

⚠️ Scam Call Centre ⚠️ They call with upgrade offers at unbelievable prices. They pretend to be CarphoneWarehouse and their email comes from TheCarphone-Warehouse.com which is a scam website. Their email also claims to be from Carphone Warehouse Ltd but it clearly isn’t as you can see by their tacky display etc. They offer you the most amazing deals then order multiple high end devices in your name and call you to say it’s the wrong person’s package and make you send it to them.

Keeps calling, last phone call when they asked to speak to me I replied," No you can t, she died last week. Needless to say tthe following day , guess what?, they rang again. I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

Called asking to verify my name & address, they had both wrong, so then wanted my name & address. I asked why but this Indian or Pakistani kept waffling & would not say why, so I hung up. Next time I shall use a tuning fork over the ear piece, so it explodes his end!
