"Sam" called asking if I was the homeowner. Then started on about window replacements, at which point I rang off, but I note that the same number had been used to try adn sell new driveways.
I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. I had a call from 0161 524 5263 but the caller rang off before I could get to my phone. Within seconds the phone rang again, this time showing 020 4538 7049. I thought it all must be some sort of scam so didn't answer and no messages were left.

SPAM Keeps calling me
A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.
Received a call saying they were BT and my broadband had been compromised. Also received a text to my mobile so beware they are very convincing

Called my Husbands company phone and wanted details of his date of birth etc due to an accident he had had in his work van, he didn’t divulge anything and as the guy was asking for more details my husband said you should already know this information if you have the file as you say you have. He ended it by telling him to call his company but didn’t say who they were. We are 100% sure it’s a scam caller

You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code.
