Automated call supposedly from my bank saying someone trying to take £900 from my visa card and i should press 1 to stop it.
Rung my mum’s saying had a car accident which she couldn’t have due to the fact she is dead. After I explained that to them they hung up.

I received a call from this number today (14.04.23) - did not pick up phone but they left a message, that there have been "unusual activites/transcation" on my card (not mentioned which one). They asked to press #1 to cancle these transactions or #2 to speak to a member of their support team. COMPLETE SCAM!
Apparently I have a returned letter from HMRC and they are pursuing legal proceedings… don’t think so !

An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!
