This number was not answered by me but an automated voicemail message was left. The call purported to have come from HMRC and instructed that I should press1 to stop court action from being taken against me for taxes owed. Firstly, I do not owe any taxes. They call saying there was an arrest guarrant against my name, for some tax fraud. Of course this is not true, then they put you on hold for the longest time. I finally put the phone down as I was worried I was getting hacked whilst on the line.

I think it's a scam call. Voicemail said I purchased an I phone 12 for £398 and it will be debited from my Amazon prime account. If I wish to cancel order press 1 or call back to report fraud. I don't have a Amazon account so I'm guessing if you call back it is a premium number.

He phoned me on Sunday in response to my ad and offered me the spare parts I wanted for my classic car. We agreed a price and then he said he wanted payment by bank transfer as he was about to go away on holiday. I was promised delivery by the end of the week but he later rang and said there was a delay and delivery would be next week and then he asked for my paypal details. I never did receive the parts and he eventually stopped responding to my calls and texts so I reported him to the police. I found

They are the same people who ring on 0161 818 7904, saying an internet problem. SCAM they get in your computer and take all your information, beware
I just accept the call and leave my phone on the side and carry on with what I m doing. They normally hang up after a minute or so listening to me washing up/having a dump or whatever.
