I love these calls. This one was from UK Times. On a previous occasion they asked for me by my real name. I said I had passed on (take that as you wish) and I gave them a fictitious name which they used this time. I answered all the questions and now hope to receive phone calls from all the sponsors which I can then report to the Information Commissioner s Office. As the call was from overseas the TPS has absolutely no control over these kinds of callers.

Automated call - a pretty convincing recording of a man called Tom wanting to arrange a survey of our loft insulation. Went round in circles for a bit, and then when the recording asked if i was the home owner and I said no it hung up.
Message left on answer phone......An American accent (female) Some is trying to use your card to the value of thirteen hundred. This is not your normal spending range. If this is correct please reply yes if it is not please reply no. Two calls today. Bank and card company checked, no such action attempted.

I Believe this is a scam call 01985216376 - I had a call from this number from a person with an Indian accent calling himself Barry. He said he was calling from open reach regarding our internet line, in the background it sounded like an office environment. I called the number back and got an English speaking gentleman called Richard and no office sounds in the background and he was not open reach. They may be tapping in to UK numbers to catch people out. My internet is working Fine by the way.
