Then, when I had refused to give straight answers to personal questions, turned abusive having realised I had her number (sorry for the bad joke!). Do not take calls from this number, and if you do, keep making refusals - they won t be playing fair with you.

Caller claimed to be talk talk with a solution to my broadband problems. Thankfully I could not hear them very well so asked for a number to call them back on. Rang the real talk talk who said no, not one of our numbers and we have not called you today.

Had this a few time - thought is was TRJ but must be SRJ asking if I was NAME press 1 if not press 2 then can you bring NAME to phone 1 yes 2 no then please ask NAME to call. When they called next I pressed 1 and got "you will be put through to next available operator - she asked was I NAME and I said "Actually I am not there is nobody of that name at this address" - she said she would take us off their list - whether that happens or not remains to be seen

I thought I ll add this. All the replies are recent (nov 2013) I got one ring then it went off. This has happened twice on one week. Timewaster.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Caller said she had been given my number as someone who have had a little car accident in the last 2 years!! Clearly phishing or insurance scam
