Came up on my phone as suspected spam, so I cancelled it. Had a recorded voicemail- couldn't hear the company name. They wanted to discuss their products and services.

This number deleted my email adress and password of my facebook.

This was the first time there was an automated call at the other end purporting to be from HMRC asking me to press 1 because I hadn’t replied to them so they would start legal proceedings. Obviously a scam but worrying as I contacted the HMRC yesterday regarding tax relief and HMRC are one of the few organisations that use my number on a phone that is only used for verification purposes and not my main phone number used for day to day stuff. cliamed that I got a document hold by the Chinese embassy(I am a Chinese), but hang up ASAP when I pick it up and speak. Apparently it is a fraud phone number.

Called to verify if Id bought £100 Amazon voucher, very unprofessional voice. Knew it was a scammer so hung up and blocked number. Verified by others experiences.

SCAM automated voice telling me they were from Amazon Prime and were taking £79:00 from my bank account for my yearly subscription and to press 1 on my phone. I hung up as I do not pay for my subscription yearly, definitely a SCAM

Insurance scam cold call twice 12.12.2022 at 12:59 and 15:19. When asked what they were trying to sell me, they closed the call. On the second occassion when I asked where they had obtained my number, they closed the call. I've now blocked.

SPAM claim to be from insurance asking about life insurance policy I have. When I said I was at work at the moment the man said “I know you are, you’re at work, I’m at work we aren’t here all the hours. Do you have a life insurance policy or not” I swiftly hung up!

Was called up by a scam callcenter that told me that there was a problem with a payout from my life insurance, They had my name and phone number, but everything else was very clearly not legit so not the most professional scam I've seen.

Pretends to be the Association of British Insurers. They have details of insurance claims. I contacted Abi.org.uk and it is nothing to do with them.

Called by an obviously Indian person - pretending to be calling from a spoofed Manchester number. Thus I had no interest in listening to what he was babbling on about. Not that I could understand him anyway. Something about eBay and Amazon stores. Blocked.

Received a call from this number (07922591295). Its a scam. A voice telling us that we had an £800 on line gambling charge on our our Visa card in America that they (presumably Visa or our bank?) thought was suspicions and was on hold. To stop it we just needed to respond by pressing 1.
