according to the 60+ comments on who-called.co.uk thus is one of those "you ve been involved in a car accident in the last 3 yrs" scams. I missed the call on my mobile but have already blocked the [email?protected]

I was unable to answer the call, as I was on a video call, but this number seems to have become highly active this morning (10/11/2021), and has been labelled as a scam call on other number look-up sites.

Turns out it is a local call number for an American selling investment advice, so best avoided.

Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. I asked him where he got my number from and he said that I had obviously bought an American

Caller (an Asian) said he was ringing from an accident investigation solicitor based in London, about the car accident that I had during past 4 years, and they could claim compensation on my behalf. I HAVE NOT had an accident !! Obvious fraud scam. I will also report this to the Action Fraud helpline.

Keep ringing if you answer they keep you on phone no matter what you say , if you ask them not to phone back they still do just had my 20th phone call told them I was reporting them for harassing phone calls !!!! Rang me back with silent call and cut phone off report them !

These morons called my work number with an automated message telling me to call them back. The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual. Silence on landline then very difficult to understand speech which I think said "you have a problem with.." I said I beg your pardon? and their phone went down. Suggests scammer tho unusual on uk 01 landline number.
