THis is fake. I had a text pretending to be from my bank, about a transaction. My bank says no such transaction, and they did not send this message. Advice: do not call the number on the text, call your bank using the number printed on the back of your bank card.

Claimed to from Virgin media, difficult to understand, Indian femail voince on a recording loop. Claims my interenet connect was slow, engineers working on the line. May have given number to phone, but basically rambled on in poor english and cut off.

UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. Fraud - Incoming call from a foreign call centre. Person on the phone not very bright. When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. I knew it was a scam, but just like to waste their time as much as they waste mine.

When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. Called by this number today, asked if i had made a £700+ purchase on credit card to an overseas seller. Told me that if i had not made this purchase i should press 1
