I don't know who the caller was as I did't answer and they didn't leave a message. I called the number back, to be told by a message that the ''call is not recognised'' so who ever they are, they are probably not very legit.
I'm guessing it's a scam because he asked for me by name and then hung up just as I asked where he was calling from.

Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

I believe this to be a banking scam as the automated called said they were from Bank Security - but no bank name given. Called me but when I answered immediately had an answering machine that said a letter for me had been returned to them so they would be taking legal action, like an answering machine would go into that much depth.
