Indian guy called up claiming I ve had an accident in the last 3 years, I advised the guy no I haven t had an accident, line went silent for a moment. He then asked if I can do him a favour? Which was to lend him money as he is from Pakistan and has no money, I immediately put the phone down.

SCAM Second call in as many minutes all from Blackburn area telephone numbers. I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

This is really McDowall Media. They have already been in trouble with the TPS. Have had several calls from them in last week.

SCAM / SPAM When answered phone, a recorded message began. It got as far as the word "Amazon" and I hung up. Probably the Amazon Prime scam doing the rounds again! I really wish there was some way for the government or telephone companies to stop people making all of these scam calls. I block the numbers but they must use lots of other ones as every time I try to search a number it hasn't previously been reported.
