Text message (scam) claiming to be BPO (a real debt collection agency used by BT) on behalf of BT. Needs you to urgently text a number for a call back.
UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.
Rang but hung up when I answered. Seems suspicious.

Had a call about a minor road accident I supposedly was involved in. I said "MINOR, IT WAS A FATALITY, I ACTUALY DIED IN THAT ONE ".....they rang off without offering condolences ......very rude.
Fraud: Called me with an automated voice message in a threatening way saying that my phone number was involved in tax fraud. Had to press a number to be directed to what I assumed would be a scammer who would try to take my personal information.

Unpleasant SCAM / SPAM. They left this voice mail message on my phone: "For you there is a tax fraud case registered under your name. You have to press one to get connected to the officer of HMRC. If in case you don't press one and your call is not connected to us then the warrant will be issued under your name straight away and you will get arrested shortly."
Was called by this number at 3PM, I missed it and it went to voicemail. The voicemail was muffled, had music playing in the background, with a woman speaking what sounded like Chinese, though it was hard to tell because the audio quality wasn't very good. Not sure if scam or just a wrong number dial.

I Believe this is a scam call 01985216376 - I had a call from this number from a person with an Indian accent calling himself Barry. He said he was calling from open reach regarding our internet line, in the background it sounded like an office environment. I called the number back and got an English speaking gentleman called Richard and no office sounds in the background and he was not open reach. They may be tapping in to UK numbers to catch people out. My internet is working Fine by the way.
