This was an automated call advising I had suspected fraud on my accounts. Gave 2 transactions and was asked to press 1 to accept 2 to decline. I put the phone down and called the bank. It wasn’t them! Please just put the phone down on this number and don’t press any buttons

Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

I think this was a scam call saying he ("Charle" sic) was from Virgin Media and that he was going to cut off my internet for 30 days

Claimed to be life insurance and knew both my parents names but when I asked them they didn’t know who he was claimed to be Tom from venisure, or something like that, but I don’t think it’s trustable and is a potential scammer preying on the older generations

Beware. Asian sounding lady claimed to be storing my will and wanted to go through and check for updates. They knew my name and postcode. I hung up and went to our solicitor who said wills are held in their own store and they know nothing about any cold calls.

Said they were from O2 which i have no contract with. And try to ask about my spending.

Called me; recorded message started 'This is a Bank Notification'. We have received two charges . .' Obvious nonsense, I ended the call.. This has all the hallmarks of a potential SCAM. Do not respond.

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. SCAM posed as my daughter on WhatsApp and asked me to pay a bill. Very plausible but bank fraud team picked up on it thankfully

Early morning call; the caller claimed to be from amazon asking about an iPhone order(never made) and said someone must have used my details. They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up.
