Called yesterday but left no message. Called again today but silence when I picked up. Looked number up on several sites - indications that it is an energy related scam with initial calls to check that your landline is live.

Called from bank security asking to confirm payment of £900 . I hung up . Pressed wrong comment for previous response

Company claiming to be called Consumer Advisory Group. Nothing comes up on a Google search. Assuming they are data harvesting. So have blocked the number.

SCAM claims to be Tony from carphone warehouse. My Android identifies the caller as Al Kareem a legitimate company, so i answered, so it looks like they are trying to mask their Id by using that number when they call.

Caller said he was from ee & because my bills were always paid on time he could offer me a 30% discount. He then asked how much my last payment was. Received a missed call from this number. Clicked onto it and hit the green phone to call it back. Upon answering they claimed they didn't call me, and that there must be something wrong with the number. Couldn't understand the foreign accent very well so I hung up ..

This number has called me a couple of times. On both occasions the recorded message states that £700 has been taken from my card for Amazon and £2000 for another transaction. It asks you to press different buttons 1 or 2 to authorise or stop the transactions. On both occasions I hung up and checked my bank account and my amazon account. This is a scam. Be aware.
