Tried ringing me on 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st (x2) and 25th August. Number is recognised by app on my phone as a telemarketer & nuisance caller so blocks it straight away as I have a box to tick if I want to block calls from this number

Reported on other sites, trying to sell and get you to pay for an expired service, which you probably didn t have. Asked for individual by name, and rudely hung up when asked for theirs. Avoid talking to them

You can easily stop these calls; Laithwaites, but on phoning back just an answer phone message which says your wine club tried to call you and to stop the calls, press 1 and leave the number and it will be removed from the list.

When I said I wouldn t give her any personal information without making sure she actually was from Vodafone, she offered to send me a text message to confirm (which Vodafone has never done). The text message came from 08700700191, which is not where my Vodafone texts normally from.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Spent ages trying to get a list of all my previous cards/mortgages then promised an average of £1800 per claim, without saying what they were claiming for. Hung up on me when I refused to give my date of birth. Apparently they are regulated by the ministry of justice so I should trust them. Avoid!!!

Got a call from tax office saying I would be arrested unless I pressed 1 pressed 1 call cut off

Silent call. I answered and no one spoke. They ended the call after 20 seconds

Auto call claiming to be from Amazon regarding an IPhone that they claim was being charged to my account.
