Asking for someone with a different name, informed him three times that wasn't my name but he kept talking over me. SCAM Caller claims he was from the carphone Wearhouse, when i challenged him he hung up the call. When i tried to phone back got a number not recognised nessage (this is a common scammer tactic) they call out using a random number and then shut it down as soon as someone like myself question's them
Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.

Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.
