Automated female voice claiming to be from Visa about two payment of ca. £600 and £1000. I rang off, and then used 14713 to call it back repeatedly - which resulted in it ringing off at once each time. I did not use my keypad to send them any information in the initial call. MUST BE PHISHING????

I missed a call in this number and stupidly called it back. It was answered briefly then went dead. I have now noticed a charge of £1.52 on my recent mobile phone bill. Obviously a scam.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. Spoke to a bottom feeder on the end of this phone. He was abusive and rude. When I asked who he was he kept giving a nonsense name. When I asked to remove my number he pressed for more of my details. This is one of many numbers (the last digit keeps changing) Scumbags - share nothing with them
They have called me 5 times in the past 4 days. Despite blocking their number, they are still trying to get through to me. They also leave blank messages on my answer phone. Avoid them like the plague and blocking them is the best advice I can give you.
