Received a text message with the phrase "Hello, I'm curious. Why is your phone number in my address book and do we know each other?" Not the first time I have had this message out of the blue.

I was called by Sarah from First Call saying it was not a sales call but was ringing about a road traffic accident. She then went on to ask if I had reported a road accident. When I responded that surely she should know the answer if that was what she was ringing about she ended the call. Seems they are a bunch of chancers hoping to hit on someone who has actually had an RTA which I haven t. Number now blocked. I am TPS registered.

I ve blocked this number

I ve been called by this number and also 08435571598 - Scottish Power about carrying out a bill comparison . Explained we were not interested, happy as we were and to remove our number from their call list but this has obviously not happened as they still ring me nearly every day at least twice at different times of day & evening = 13 times in total since early September!

They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

This people try to get access to my computer pretending to be BT, a very poor way to get my password. Be aware of such scams.

These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end. A guy called Paddy rang asking for me by name saying I could get compensation for being ill on a all inclusive holiday,this was quite plausible as I was ill on holiday he went on to say they needed my nat insurance number and for me to email them a photo of my self so they could proceed with my claim, as if I would give that sort of info over phone, total scam

Emma from Proficient Solutions called about an accident I d been involved in. I told them I d report them to theTtelephone Preference Service for cold calling. She put me through to a male supervisor. I told him he same thing and he hung up.

Just annoying, because whoever it doesn t leave a message.

Just been called from this number about my bad debt and loans.. Said I don t have any loans or credit cards and he told me to go get some and live my life then hung up!!!!!!
