She said ‘Oh, that would be one of my colleagues – you are MY NAME right?’ Her accent was Indian with an America tone so I said I think you have the wrong number. She repeated my number and again I said you have the wrong number. To which she replied ‘what-e-ver’ and hung up – so RESULT!

Caller rang me and clearly it is from a call centre as lots of people talking in the background about mobile phones. Caller did not speak and hung up the phone. I rang the number back which is supposedly on the Sheffield UK exchange but there was a one sentence message which said you have been called by carphonewarehouse . A few minutes later the same caller ID appeared on my phone and when I answered it it was a female calling from carphonewarehouse in SOUTH AFRICA!!

Rang me asking for a different person and unknown address, very persistent, when i asked what it was about, was told this person had contacted them last year about selling some gold. Wanted me to confirm i knew name and address of said person. When i said it was nothing to do with me, caller became quite aggressive and said that i shouldnt have asked what it was about if it wasnt anything to do with me. At this stage, I hung up!
