When they ring , they always get me out of bed, when i look at the number on the phone screen its very close to my area number so i answer , then there's a delay while it clicks and connects to a different part of the world and then a foreign sounding lady always mis- says my name with a long eee at the beginning and there is an office noise back ground . Checked that it was a 'safe' number but when I tried to call it, it came back unrecognised.
Say from Bt.internet not working properly want you to log in to your computer.had similar scams before trying to get your details.

Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.

I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive.
