A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.

Telling me I can have a 40%reduction on my 02 bills I said I’m not stupid go away or words like that. The accent was so strong I could hardly understand her

Aggressive fraudster who is very persistent. The guy has just tried to con a 95-year old friend of mine to pay him £500 in order to unblock his computer / install security software. Caution!

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Pure Scam. Seller pretend to be a assistant of one of the China stores on Aliexpress. He arrange to take the first payment for the items you want to purchase then he requests hiden customs charges for the shipment and even if you pay them it wont change that you never get your goods delivered
