A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. SCAM / SPAM Pretending to be EE saying they were unable to take payment and to avoid fees click the link. If you click the link it will take you to a browser tab which states it’s dangerous and not to enter any details.
Caller told me she was from the company I bought my PC from & there were issues due to downloads. She asked me to go to my computer...... at that point I realised she was trying to access my PC illegally. I asked her if she was going to try & extract financial information from me & she hung up.
Have started calling me at least twice a day for about two weeks- they do not leave a message. If they didn t keep ringing when I am at work (and can not answer) I would answer and know who they are. Not ringing back incase it s one of those expensive calls.
Again after 13 seconds a click then automated caller says, "Goodbye" obviously a number collector

caller said they were from BT Open reach and said they had noticed a problem with our computer. I said thats interesting. She said can you turn on your computer I replied do you think I am f****** mad to which she replied yes. I said so go f **** off this number is not to be trusted do not do anything you are asked and warn elderly and vulnerable not to turn on anything.

Was called by this number at 3PM, I missed it and it went to voicemail. The voicemail was muffled, had music playing in the background, with a woman speaking what sounded like Chinese, though it was hard to tell because the audio quality wasn't very good. Not sure if scam or just a wrong number dial.
