An idiot rang me from this number stating that he could get me refunds for all of any of the loans, credit cards and mortgages that I d ever had during my lifetime. I told him that I didn t have any just to get him off the phone to which he replied that I WAS A LIAR. Admittedly it was a white lie, I just wanted rid of him, but he then went into an incredible abusive rant, the like if which I have never encountered before. As with other responders, the caller tried to imply that there were changes to my domestic insurance cover but no worries, they could fix it for me. Did I have a pencil and paper ready? When I pointed out that I get daily nuisance calls so put the request in writing, the line went dead. im registered with TPS but what s the point - it makes no difference!

A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. He didn t swear but got more impatient as the call went on.

Keeps ringing me every day

just had a missed call off this number. tried calling back wont dial out properly but need to know who it was as expecting an important call.

Nobody spoke when I first answered then a woman came on and then a man asking about an accident I had had the day before that wasn't my fault.

Called - on answer nothing but silence.......another nuisance call......what is the point? Something needs to be done to the industry to stop these annoying calls - a silent cal...

As a consequence of reading the Sunday Telegraph on 2 August 2015 I saw an online car extended warranty advert. Applied to the URL and completed online form; received a quote for ?1000/yr which is excessive and I will not use. Now being called by 0118-971-9700 daily But have blocked that number on my phone.

We just had a call from these people. It was 10.05 am on Monday 22nd Sept. Cold call on our land line and we are registered with the TPS.

Rang me, left a message saying I was facing legal action. I was then told, on ringing back that I needed my debit/credit card as I had overpaid my taxes to HMRC. When asked how I had overpaid, they tried to hustel me into giving my card number.
