Rang asking for a person with same surname supposedly living nearby. No other people with my surname living in this village. Suspicious and did not volunteer any information.

This number is one of a group that has recently called me and appeared to be a scam of some sort. I answered and waited before speaking any, and after three seconds they hung up. Why are so many silent calls originating in this particular part of London? Is it always the same area because as soon as I block a number they just use a new one.

Disturbed me this afternoon at about 5pm. Could only hear background noise before I hung up.

Today I have received my third consecutive call from these people in three days. Each call implied that my computer had been compromised. Todays call was the most aggressive so far. Because I refused to switch on my computer I was told that they would put a block on my access and that I will be billed for £200.
