Thats exactly what they did, as soon as I answered politely they hung up. So I googled the number finding this website.

I believe this company is Harringtons Advisory ltd. PPI,Pensions,Accidents,Mortgages,debts, and other claims calls. I have found 67 phone numbers for them so far, and 35 of them end in 063. This company is under investigation by the Claims Management Regulator, but thats only for the PPI side of it. I have had nothing but hassle from this company. Received unsolicited calls from 0114 319 0673 even though I m signed up to the telephone preference service. Looks like they are faking their outgoing number which means they must be scammers. Don t bother answering or calling back.

Just had a call from this number. A man called Daniel started to waffle about interest and stuff, I asked whether this was about PPI? He said it was about insurance and the interest and carried on talking about it, I asked him once again whether it was PPI. He admitted it was, I said I didn t have any, and he (rather arse-ily) said "Well, how would you know!? It s embedded in the insurance!" I said "Because I ve never had a mortgage, I ve never had a credit card and I ve never had a loan" He hung up.

This number has now called 5 times since 23 March. I have found the name of the company ringing. All I will say it is an accident claims company.

Told me about a wellness survey I had conducted, which happened to be true. She then tried to entice me with a free trial to " help their research". She denied anything about wanting to sell me anything but this is patently untrue. boarderline scam as untruthfull.
