Just been called by this number claiming to be from Amazon, obvious scam.

Called my mobile and says O2 promotion, but then doesn't know my number to txt me the offer how is that possible!! Got to be a scam and I am not with O2 anyway.

SPAM Would not state where they are from or who they are until you confirmed your details when I refused to confirm any details they company policy and hung up. Definitely a call center from background noise and when you call back the number goes straight back to that operater without company name total scam

I didn’t tell them he was deceased and said if you want ant contact with my husband you’ll only get it through me , as this Indian insisted he spoke to him . Was called out of the blue about the crypto world trade centre scam, wanting to send me an email to get my funds back - sounds really dodgy apparently they are Virgin Tech - no website, I rang the number back, it connected to ananswerphone message but with no mention of the company. Alarm bells.

Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

Recorded message telling me my Amazon subscription had gone out of date and they had taken £90 from my account. First time I knew that Amazon had offices so close to my home. Nearest one is Preston

Someone called my landline on this number about 0815 this morning and it woke me up! No message left. It is a similar number to a couple of calls I have received this week. The previous callers claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my broadband connection - which there isn’t and I told them so. It is likely a scam to get you to give information so they can hack into your system.

8 AM this morning, automated call claiming to be "bank security" - went on to tell me my card had been used twice today - obvious scam as I use a building society wanted me to press a number to connect with their "helpline" - I hung up.

Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. Could barely understand a word he was saying. I'm not a customer of Carphone Warehouse so I hung up.
