Obviously a number that is 1234567890 would be highly suspicious. This number from Bedford, UK tried to call me twice this morning. I declined to answer the first time and the number called me back immediately. I did not answer for fear of being charged a fee. Furthermore, I live in Singapore. Why would a strange foreign number try to call me?

A guy called claiming to be from the Carphone Warehouse. Mentioned something about an iPhone. I told him I didn't use an iphone, but had a Samsung. He wanted to know what model. Called my land line and as my wife can't answer the phone she told that the phone had rang. No message left so did 1471. This number was given. Rang it on my mobile twice and each time I was told I had dialed an incorrect number.

I got 3 calls from them. Two in one day, one two days before.The first time they hung up the phone and the next two I missed their calls. Phoned back at it was a recorded message saying someone had tried to call me. I proceeded to take my number off their list. Very annoying.
