Fraudulent call claiming from HMRC about tax fraud

Trying to sell solar panels. Usual call centre script to test eligibility. TPS registered number.

Usual "you've had a non-fault accident" drivel....

A "real person" offerning Quote "A government funded institute giving away free solar panels!" - Oh yeah!

Called asking for me by name regarding an accident I'd had on the road. Not had one and when I told them they were polite and said they'd remove my number (I doubt it)

got a call from this number he called me by name and he start talking about my car accident and I put the phone down

African sounding man rang my mobile and asked to speak to me using my full name (which i never use) about a financial matter. When i rang back the call was blocked. I have since googled and realised they are scammers. Hope he doesn t call again.
