I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Up until this mornings call I had had no emails asking for payment - not that I would answer them anyway. email in my Inbox purporting to be from Bulb (My Energy Company) - I have a DD with them they would not act in this way = DELETED !

a lady with eastern european accent called enquiring about the subscription to my DNA MyHeritage account. didnt seem formal and she was on the streets as I can hear people and traffic. either the site is full of scammers or has been hacked.

SCAM call. Claims to be Amazon prime. Taking 300 now and 1200 later. I received numerous calls from this this week. 9am 10am noon 5pm. Not All different numbers but this one not found on any who called me site. I leave all calls now to go to ansaphone as am sick to death of them all. If it's not amazon it's loft insulation or domestic appliance cover . The latter also a complete and utter nuisance. If all these callers actually got themselves proper jobs the country might not be in the mess it's in.

The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.
