I received a call 2 days ago from 07477423611 I do not answer if I dont know I heard the message that was left from this number and it was the end of a recorded voice saying something like quot if you do not take action we will complain to the authoritiesquot So it is a scam Today I got a call from a similar number 07477853867 I blocked it immediately

This number has been searched at least 1250 times, if not more. The POLICE are aware and need to identify these scammers, so the more it is reported the better the chance of catching them. SCAM First of all said they were from Windows, wanted me to turn on my computer so they could stop the hackers who had been trying to get my personal information. They said if I didn't turn on the computer now they would block everything, stop it from working and the hackers would use my information to get access to my accounts. When I asked them to speak to someone in the house who works in IT security they rang off quickly.

He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.

The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.

Im not from the uk. And the guy that called me was clearly indian but spoke english. Never gave his name or company that he called for. obvious scam is obvious.

SPAM Firm called Trading World Centre - refused to provide a number to call them back on or who their regulatory body is.

Called by an obviously Indian person - pretending to be calling from a spoofed Manchester number. Thus I had no interest in listening to what he was babbling on about. Not that I could understand him anyway. Something about eBay and Amazon stores. Blocked.
