SCAM ,automated call saying about 2 large payments being held , 1 being for £1000 for Amazon ,. Continues by saying press 1 to authorise. Didn't continue call but presumably will ask for card details to confirm . Rang number back , and number doesn't exist

It's a fake and scamster number and they will do data theft from your mobile.

Got call from this number stating that my credit/bank card had been used in Mexico. Pretty certain this is a scam.

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. These people are scammers, do not press one like they advise. They suggest that you have made an expensive purchase from Amazon.

Scammer claiming to be from O2. He became vulgar when I told him that I am not a week target.

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

Automated call Fraud. Recorded message supposedly from Visa to say credit card has been used at two separate places. Then went on with "press 1 to report", at which time I hung up.

Didn’t answer when it called. Called back very briefly and it took me an automated reply “Thank you for calling World Lottos…” Scam I imagine.

SCAM sounds like a scam offering you a medical alert device, dint contiue the call as I asked to speak to his manager as he said his manager had given him a list of no's to ring, he then hung up on me, so incosiderate i might have fell for it

Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction

There was an automated voice which told me there had been an attempt to use a card ( which I do not use). I have not been able to re-call or trace.

Odd call. I picked up the phone and said hello and was answered (by a robot ?) which said goodbye. Methinks an obvious scammer.

They say they are credit fraud company.

This is a scam. Automatic woman's voice says your Amazon Prime has expired and to rejoin to pay £95.00 She says to press 1 to rejoin, or 2 for customer services. As I do not use Amazon this made me aware it's a scam and terminated the call and dialled 147 to find this Bournemouth number had registered as the caller.

INDIA SCAM using Bolton Looking numbers.

SCAM - Claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse Limited. Second call from that business today, from two separate numbers. Wanted to discuss my account. I am not a customer of that business.
