asking about an accident I had in the last 3 years I haven't had one!

Scammer. Called advising he was from Microsoft Technical Support and i had a virus on my pc ect. Told me to press windows sign and R and asked what do i see. Told him nothing. Had him going round in circles for 20 minutes before telling him my pc wasnt switched on. He then told me i was a timewaster haha kept the idiot from bothering somebody else for 20 minutes if nothing else

No one at the other end when they called me. Very annoying.

It is payday UK. It will be to discuss any outstanding loan you have/remind you of any upcoming payments. I ignored the call most of the month - finally answered it today and they refused to discuss with me as I would not pass DPA. I went on to live chat on their website whom confirmed the call was from them - I have recommended they add the number they call from to their website as google search shows it as a telepest rather than a genuine call. When I called this number back an automated machine just asks you to enter your account number. It doesn t even give any kind of company name whatsoever!

This scammer (from an Indian call centre by the sounds of it) keeps bombarding me with unsolicited offers of a "discomfort payment" following a car accident. Because I will have nothing to do with such fraud they keep calling me back. I am on TPS.

This number just keeps on calling. Nobody there when you answer it phone hangs up. I guess they are just trying to find out when you are available to answer the phone and then letting companies know. BLOCK IT.

They try to get you to commit insurance fraud by saying that you ve been injured in a motor accident when in fact you re perfectly ok. They go on to say that the insurance companies keep a certain amount of money set aside when a motor accident occurs. They reckon they can get you this money and it won t cost you a penny.

Persistent cold caller

A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. They offered to write off my company debt (which does not exist). I had alarm bells right from the beginning and definitely do not trust these guys. Do not trust them and definitely dont give any

When called the person answering did not know the address of the head office! The name of chief executive given by staff different to that held by Companies House CEBTA (Campaign for Ethics for Business Transfer Agents) and Google have some very intersting comments! See also 0800 393664
