SCAM Rang my work number saying they were BT (not our provider) and said our router was Comprimised. Knowing it was a scam, I played along to waste their time. They tried to get me to connect to what would undoubtedly look similar to a BT site to then connect my PC to the site. They got bored of us trying to keep them on the line so they didn't scam some OAP. They gave up and hungup.

House of Ladies ask for a police check. I am not sure of them. Perhaps someone can let me know if they are genuine. Usually a good agency as the type on this page should be good. Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states. Knew my surname and said they were calling from a wine company. I had previously filled out a survey saying liked red wine. Advised them I was not interested. Female caller was very polite through out conversation

Sales woman called and said she wanted to speak to the director and give us quotes for energy providers. I told her 'the managing director would not be interested in her call but thank you' and then put the phone down as we do not take cold calls. She rang straight back and spoke to another colleague saying that I was rude to hang up on her! Very harassing, a rude person, and not a good fit for a sales team, we will be adding them to our black list.

Lady with asian accent cold called and had details of address. Wanted to sell us boiler cover and that we were paying too much with our previous provider, could not provide us with details of who we currently have boiler cover (we dont have any which gives the game away) although played along for a while for a laugh. Claimed the company was in Crawley and called Utility Care. She hung up. Searches on internet cannot find this company, most likely a scam to get bank details.
SCAM: asked me about car accident I had during the last two years. When I asked which one, she said it was the no fault one. I asked but which one. She hung up.
