I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

Recorded message purporting to be from VISA security advising of two debits to my card, and asking my to press a number to speak to them. Lack of customer name or even name of card issuer made call to generic to be legit, so looks like a scam. However since number is a landline looks like the recorded number is also bogus

Said he was my energy representative for my area postcode. I asked who he worked for, and after a pause long enough for it to be clear he wasn't going to answer, he continued with his script. I stopped him and asked again what company he was calling from. He then hung up! Clearly a poorly thought-out scam call!

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Automated voice said my card had been used on Amazon and to press 1 if it was not me. None of my banks are in this area so this is a scam.

There was automated call advising me there was a criminal case being raised for tax evasion

This person claimed to work for Currys pc world. Trying to get me to sign up for a new mobile contract. He knew my number but not my name. When I called him out, he was very abusive then hung up ..... Invalid number when I rang back.

SCAM Forgiegn caller rang to "Renew" appliance insurance for £500.

SPAM Claiming to be a company offering a "remote' job oppertunity.

This person, man/woman called and was very rude down the phone, very demanding. Next time the same person called from this number 03302200441, was continusly rude and shouting down the phone, has called us to the count of 37 times from 03/02/2023 to present date 04/05/2023 - the 07951999600 number is listed in the Lady magazine issue 10/2021 under as wanting to buy scarfs.

This local number was a recorded message advising me of two charges made on my account (no specific account named) and to press one. Clear that the phone number was spoofed
