scam call. apparently from my mobile provider and I have been selected to have my bill reduced, I asked who my provider was, they couldn't answer, and then asked how much it would be reduced too and they then asked for my last bill, I said if they are my provider they know how much my bill is and then the phone went down, they will try anything

If you answer "hello" or "anything else", the line will be logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll get called back later by a con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line then goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scamme

SPAM A guy with a scouse accent, called up saying he was from Fleetpoint Magazine, sounded very odd, almost intoxicated. Was pressing for information about company vehicles but seemed very against actually explaining WHY he wanted that information. On multiple occasions he asked for different people in the company to ask instead of dealing with me and after many attempts I finally got to the bottom of the nature of his call. Said he was from Amazon and was phoning about my job resistant order for an iPhone. Wanted to talk about my email then hung up. Appeared to be potentially a scam.

Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.

I hung up as it's an obvious scam. Be careful as all these ways of getting your details are sometimes convincing. Not today though !!!
