Claimed to be to do with bank security regarding suspicious activities on my bank account.

This number and many more started with conversation with NUXTRADE a scam firm

07477 707231 didn't answer it as it's on a phone number that I don't use for anything or give out. Tried calling it back and it just says number not recognised, so clearly some sort of scam. I suspect it's the HMRC scam that's going around.

It was a computer generated voice telling me that my card was being used for a £700 transaction. I ended the call and checked all my cards online. No such transaction so I took it that this us a scam.

an Indian man said that he works for HMRC civil appeal and that I have an ongoing case with the court, he then proceeded to ask for my name and postcode in order to find my file, so I gave him a fake made-up name & my current postcode, without even asking for my house number he said yes sir I found your file. he will try to play with your mind and ask you to go to their gov website and spell their phone number for him, then in someway he will merge a call and call you from the gov number to fool you

SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.

This number has rang me twice now, the male on the other end says, you have just rang this number. Yesterday I told them no I haven't and they asked who it was, so I asked who they were. They said you rang this number and I reiterated I hadn't and they said you have, so I said no I haven't and told them to go away and put the phone down. Called today and left voicemail supposedly from my bank about suspicious credit card transactions, one £300 at Amazon and one £1,100 with an international currency transfer service. It is a scam - fraud office of bank does not phone and leave a pre-recorded message!
