Missed the call, VM left was "legal action from HMRC, press 1 to speak to operator" in a very americanised computer vocalisation - highly suspect this is a scam call
SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. I live in australia and received a call from this number. No one on the other end.
Very dangerous number ,they say they are calling from amazon and stating that an order of £749 ,then they ask what phone I am using and number.
It rang me twice. I withheld my number and rang back - got a recorded message then rock music. I suspect it's dodgy.

SCAM - pretending to be from Lloyds Bank... asking to call on 01332 556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. Recipient has no account with LLoyds, so definitely a scam.
