This sod rang me at about 7.30 to night. I live in Edinburgh, and I thought it was a taxi company (there is a taxi company in Edinburgh, whose number starts 0131-777), but the bloke, with a very pronounced Asian/Indian accent said that he wanted to talk to my wife to discuss her account with them. Pre recorded message re missold payment protection insurance. Standard woffle saying I could get up to £4000 in compensation. Press 2 to speak to an adviser, or alternatively save yourself money and put the phone down. The majority of people could deal with the banks etc themselves thus saving themselves the fees that these claim companies would charge.
