Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Told him EE have my email address, to email me and then he said only the marketing department will have that...Told him I don't agree to just anyone claiming to be from EE to get money out of me for a contract I can't see. They ask you to download AnyDesk app (which is a remote desktop app to take over your phone) so they can "help you migrate your tokens". DO NOT DO THIS!! They will steal your crypto!!!

Please report it it is a SCAM. Had a call from01233542837 which showed as Potential scam/fraud identified himself as "claim UK" when I asked which claim he said any claim. I went cheeky and said wanted free energy bill he hang up.
