SCAM This number called me today. It was a bot voice claimed it is from UK HMRC and asked me to press 1 to speak to an officer. I didn't press, but it is highly suspicious.

Message on my answerphone to say a money transfer had been made from my card (did not say which) in excess of £1000 which was unusual. Same message, and same voice, as made to my phone from 01491576783 yesterday so looks like a scam gang doing the rounds. Watch out.

Phone message saying that it’s from Mastercard and unusual transaction, and this point I hanged up. BEWARE could be a scam?…

Spoke to there main contractor this morning very informative lots of points of question.

SPAM - Pre recorded message, "I have been told you have been in a car accident.......... blah blah blah". Trouble is, with a pre recorded, you can't even tell them to go away GRRRRRRR.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Bank fraud, claiming to be NatWest.

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Supposedly from my daughter new phone as old one is broken request to message her Had this type of message before they then request you pay an important bill as she they cannot access internet banking I know its a scam as my daughter lives abroad and we only use messenger On one such message I asked how her Dad was reply was he is good little did they know he had been dead for some years

This number is being used for fraud/scams. They call and accept you of tax fraud and demand payment to stop legl action. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER. I HAVE REPORTED THIS NUMBER.

This number sent an OTP number for a purchase I didn’t make. I’m talking to my bank and they’re checking it out. I’d say be careful and don’t click on any links or numbers.

Called me computer voice saying it was Amazon prime about to debit my payment and if I wanted to cancel to press 1 to speak to supervisor.

Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

Fraud tried to get me to pay a bill pretending that he was my son and had broken his phone and that this was a temporary phone and his bank account was frozen do not not answer these texts

The number will ring you and cancel the call before you can pick up, if you call back it will fail, most likely using a number spoofer.

This is a SCAM. The call started with a woman stating she was from Virgin Media and had noted problems with my router; asked if I had also noticed this. I said I hadn't. She said she could help me resolve the problem. I told her she couldn't, not least because I wasn't with Virgin Media. She told me she could help because all the providers' support centres were working together on this. I told her 'nice try' and hoped the weather was good in Delhi, or wherever she was 'phoning from. Then I hung up.

This is a mobile number, supposedly from Natwest Fraud department. Its a scam. The map linked to this shows an area south of Glasgow, but marked Moscow.
