received call from +44 7482 458825 - talking in Chinese/ japonese language... all was able to understand was DHL which I know proper DHL not using this number... beware of scam

I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.

Checked with the Bank they think it is a scam

01420 563233 called using my name and was obviously from India area. He reckoned he was speaking from Amazon and wanted to talk about an iphone I had ordered at about £740 apparently. Told him to get off the line or I will report him to the police. No doubt what the scam is he wasn't going to do it on me.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. This is the number of a chap who claims to be the manager of a travel agency called Muslim Holly Travel Ltd, trading under times travel Ltd. He collected money from us to book a package holiday but failed to secure the booking and refused to refund our money. We warn anyone to deal with him.

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.

SCAM. Texted me, supposedly from Evri, saying I missed a delivery and have to pay a redelivery charge. I wasn't expecting a package, so I looked up the link and my software blocked it as a trojan. The number doesn't show up at all in a google search, so it's a scam.

Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. At that point I put down the phone and registered this number. Obviously this was a fraudulent call.

Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.
