Information
I was called this morning from this number and when I answered it was silent, no one spoke so I hung up. This number is very similar to one the other day only differing in the las 2 digits ie: 76 as apposed to 64. A pattern emerging maybe?

Called me at 06:39 on Saturday 17 December 2022, which was annoying. No-one on the other end. May just have been accidental or may have been something else.

Bank alert, told me that two large transactions had gone from account. Didn't say what bank or use my name. Cancelled call and accounts are all ok so must be scam. Blocked.

Seems to be phishing scam; automated voice advised of financial fraud, but not from banking company.
They answer but don’t explain who they are become frustrated and rude it’s a scam they keep calling.
Missed call. No message left. However noticed lot of searches of numbers with this code 01327 so am assuming it is a nuisance call.
Left a message on my answer phone which was difficult to understand but appeared to be about an address for parcel delivery. They never said who they were or asked if I was the person they were trying to contact and further investigation showed that calls to this number cost 16p a minute from a landline plus a setup fee of 23p.

Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. Missed calls Rang on two consecutive days. Missed calls both times. Surely any reputable company would leave a message? Especially a mobile phone company? Everyone knows about phone scams which are getting to record levels. If a company cold calls to sell you something, they have to check the Telephone Preference Service first. Therefore as they’ve ignored TPS and not left an explanatory message on two occasions, I’ve blocked the number assuming this is a scam, spoofing Vodafone.

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
