Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. 01223931099 rang with a very loud background noise proporting to be a call centre. The caller, with a strong foreign accent, alleged he was from sky refund centre; however, when I said ok in a less than enthusiastic manner, the caller hung up. This is most unlike any sky call centre I have experienced. I suspect it to be a scam.

Rude and inconsiderate A scam

Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

Called at midnight. Reverse call goes to answerphone. Avoid. Possible scam from Manchester area.

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.

The pre-recorded call, claims that you owe HMRC money are about to be Prosecuted. JUST HANG UP, IT IS A SCAM AND WILL COST YOU MONEY IJ YOU PRESS ANY NUMBER.

Completely agree with the other review. There's no reason for me to be called from England. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER BACK, as the number showed as possible fraud. There have been accounts of people calling a number like this back and getting charged a lot of money.

Some depressed and dejected sounding indian fellow saying something about a discounted iphone or some nonsense, as per standard procedure I frustrated his efforts and wasted his time until he hung up.

SCAM - Have had varying numbers 02922 770715, 02922 770237, 02920 770128, 029220770716 calling everyday for the last month or so. They claim to be an energy company trying to frighten you regarding loft insulation. This is obviously a scam trying to lure people into parting with their hard earned cash whilst annoying them with phone calls everyday!!! If you have any numbers call similar to those mentioned above.. IGNORE THEM or preferably BLOCK THEM !!!!!
