I recieved a call which I missed off this number last week and got a call back today. I answered the call and all I got was 18 seconds of silence before I ended the call. If they re scammers you d think they d say something!

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

Their email also claims to be from Carphone Warehouse Ltd but it clearly isn’t as you can see by their tacky display etc. They offer you the most amazing deals then order multiple high end devices in your name and call you to say it’s the wrong person’s package and make you send it to them.

Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Googled his number whilst he was on the line and numerous reports of him being a scammer and not E-on. Woman with strong Asian accent claiming to be from Opus Energy. As with other reports, claiming there was an error with MPAN number affecting the meter reading. Hung up and she called back annoyed and demanding to speak to the person responsible for the electric supply. Sadly for her that was me. In the current circumstances with energy companies going to the wall we can expect more of these pond life creatures creeping out from under their rock. Scamming scum.
