This number called approx. 2.30pm stating in a recorded message that our credit card had been used fraudulently. £300 odd paid to Amazon. A £1000 odd paid out as well, from Scotland. 024 7630 5294 - This number belongs to furinncattery.co.uk but it has been "hijacked" by some cons pretending they are from Vodaphone. Hysterically, when I said I am not with Vodaphone, the person on the other end asked which company I was with and tried to engage in conversation with me! Heavy Asian accent. I just ended the call and haveblocked the number (as I am not expecting a call from the cattery either!)

Text message claiming to be Santander, claiming that there is some suspicious payment attempts on your current account. Said they’d attempt to call shortly ti talk to you about it in on a number, it was like the banks number, its not the actual banks number its different by 1 digit.

I received a call from someone who said they were from BT and that they had detected that my BT landline had a low broadband speed... This is unlikely as I don't use BT!!!! This is obviously a scam. Checked the 01322225284 number that came up on my display and found that the caller was phoning from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Dartford Bridge, UK! Beware, do not give personal or banking details!!!!
